How does bank sync work and is it safe?

Bank connections run through Plaid with read-only access. Money Manager never sees your bank password and cannot move money. Connections are encrypted end to end and you can disconnect at any time.

Bank sync runs through Plaid, which covers most US banks and credit unions. If your bank is not listed, upload a PDF or CSV statement instead.

Can Money Manager move money or make payments?

No. The Plaid connection is read-only. Money Manager can see balances and transactions and nothing else. Nothing in the app can initiate a transfer or a payment.

Do you store my bank login?
